How the final paycheck checker works
Each state tool takes the deadline for your case — quit or fired — and applies it to your last day worked. Where a state sets a fixed number of days, it shows the exact date; where the rule is "next regular payday," it says so, because the calendar date then depends on your employer's payroll schedule. It states the rule, not a verdict on whether an employer complied.
Two states here — Florida and Georgia — have no final-paycheck timing statute, so the federal FLSA default (next regular payday) controls. This tool is informational only and not legal advice.
